النبذة: د.سوسن صالح الحضرمي  ، رئيسة مركز تنمية المرأة والطفل بمحافظة تعز هي ايضاً اكاديمية وتعمل محاضرة في  قسم القانون الخاص في كلية الحقوق جامعة تعز منذ   2004 بدرجة استاذة مشاركة. خلال عملها في جامعة تعز  تقلدت د.سوسن عدة مناصب منها  منصب رئيسة قسم القانون المدني ومن ثم نائبة العميد للدراسات العليا  و آخرها مدير مركز بحوث ودراسات تنمية المرأة .خلال بداية الحرب عام 2015 ساهمت د. سوسن بتطبيع في مدينة تعز من خلال فتح أبواب الجامعة امام الطلاب، حيث أشرفت على  امتحانات مركز المدينة. 

 في عام 2017  قامت بتأسيس مركز تنمية المرأة والطفل بمحافظة تعز لحماية النساء والأطفال في تعز نتيجة لما يتعرضون له من انتهاكات بسبب الحرب، ومنذ التأسيس نفذ مركز تنمية المرأة والطفل العديد من الانشطة للتوعية بحقوق المرأة ومناهضة العنف القائم على النوع الاجتماعي والمساواة بين الجنسين . تشارك المؤسسة في العديد من  الانشطة المجتمعية مثل نشاط حكماء السلام لتعزيز النسيج الاجتماعي في محافظة ، وتعمل كإستشارية مجتمعية لمديريتي  المظفر والقاهرة ، إضافة الى مساهمتها في تعزيز دور المرأة في فض النزاعات وبناء السلام من خلال تنفيذ العديد من الدورات وورش العمل. من أهداف المؤسسة حصول النساء على مشاركة متساوية في الحياة السياسية، والعمل على حماية النساء قانونيا  من خلال سن قوانين تضمن لهن الحماية من العنف و المواطنة المتساوية. تسعى ايضا د.سوسن من خلال عملها الى محو الامية القانونية للنساء في محافظة تعز.

قامت بالاشراف على العديد من المناقشات لطلبة الدكتوراة والماجستير كما شاركت في العديد من الندوات وقدمت العديد من الأوراق في المجال الحقوقي ، كما أن لديها العديد من البحوث المنشورة في عدة مجلاتت منها "مسؤولية الطبيب في التلقيح الصناعي"و كتاب في المدخل لدراسة القانون. 

د. سوسن حاصلة على شهادة الدكتوراة في فلسفة القانون من جامعة الصداقة بين الشعوب من جمهورية روسيا الاتحادية .

Bio: Dr. Sawsan Saleh Al-Hadrami, the Head of the Women and Child Development Center in Taiz Governorate. She is also an academic and has been working as a lecturer in the Private Law Department at the Faculty of Law, Taiz University since 2004, as an Associate Professor. During her work at Taiz University, Dr. Sawsan held several positions, including Head of the Civil Law Department and then Deputy Dean for Graduate Studies, and most recently she was appointed as the Director of the Center for Research and Studies on Women’s Development. At the beginning of the war in 2015, Dr. Sawsan supported the normalization in Taiz by opening the university's doors to students, as she supervised the exams.

 In 2017, she established the Women and Child Development Center in Taiz, to support women and children protection in Taiz, due to the increased number of violations they experienced. Since its establishment, the Women and Child Development Center have implemented many activities to raise awareness of women’s rights, combat gender-based violence, and support gender equality. The Foundation participates in many community activities, to strengthen the social fabric in the governorate, and works as a community advisor for the Mudhaffar and Alqahira districts, in addition to its contribution to enhancing the role of women in conflict resolution and peacebuilding through the implementation of many courses and workshops. One of the goals of the Foundation is for women to have equal participation in political life, and to work to protect women legally by enacting laws that guarantee them protection from violence and equal citizenship. Dr. Sawsan also seeks through her work to enhance women's legal literacy.

Dr. Sawsan has supervised many doctoral and master's students. She also participated in many seminars and presented many papers in the field of law. She has had many pieces of research published in journals, including "The Doctor's Responsibility in IVF" and a book on the entrance to the study of law. Dr. Sawsan holds a Ph.D. in Philosophy of Law from the Peoples' Friendship University of the Russian Federation.
