‍Bio: Hind Aleryani (@HindAleryani) is a writer, journalist, and member of the UN-Women Yemeni Women’s  Pact for Peace and Security.
She received Arab Women of the Year Award 2017 in public awareness, the award is organized by the London Arabia Organisation with support from the Mayor of London, Regent's University in London. Because of her advocacy for peace and women's rights in Yemen.

Several of her articles have been published in numerous Arabic and Western newspapers, including the Washington Post, French TV5 Monde, MiddleEast Eye, and Al-Arabiya. One of her articles entitled “Why don’t men cover their faces” was translated to 5 languages and was recommended by The Mirror.

Hind led several campaigns and protests against Qat; on January 12th, 2012, and its negative effects on the economy, water, and agriculture. After two years of campaigning and protesting, a strategy that would solve the Qat problem gradually was included in the constitution, which was supposed to be voted on by the people of Yemen in 2015.

Hind Al-Eryani launched a large campaign called “Don’t return to Yemen without peace” during the consultations in Kuwait. This campaign was supported by many Yemeni citizens from several cities and villages. They took pictures and videos calling for peace and demanding that the parties participate in the consultations and end the war. This put pressure on the parties participating in the consultations, who then announced their support for the campaign, which made the UN envoy praise the campaign during press conferences.

Hind participated in several conferences around the world for peace. The most important of which was attending the Stockholm conference. She wrote an article for the Washington Post about what she saw during the conference, and the importance of stopping the war.

Hind participated and moderated several conferences about the role of women in peace, including a conference held by the United Nations for Women. This was in the presence of the Swedish Minister of Foreign Affairs.

Hind worked to protect minorities during the war by starting several campaigns from 2016 to 2020. One demanding the release of Baha'is who had been imprisoned by the Houthis. She worked as a mediator communicating with the UN envoy to get the Bahais out of Houthi prisons in July 2020.An article was published in June 2021 on the French newspaper “Le Monde” talking about Hind's role in peace and protecting minorities.

Hind is a holder of a Bachelor's in Computer Science from Sana’a University, and a Master's in Business Administration from the American University for Science and Technology/ Lebanon.
